Step By Step Guide for UAE Attestation

Let us walk you through the process:

Step 1:

Check if your document/s already have a DFA Apostille (Department of Foreign Affairs) issued within 3 years as this is a requirement by the UAE Embassy. If not yet, please click here.

Please note that we cannot accept your documents for attestation if your documents have no DFA Apostille or have DFA Apostille but issued more than 3 years ago.

Step 2:

Identify the type of document/s you want to submit Personal, Educational, or Commercial types of documents. To know more please click here.

Step 3:

How would you like to submit your documents? Choose one of the two options to submit your documents for attestation: ONLINE or PERSONAL APPEARANCE. Please read below.

  1. ONLINE

    • Visit the link: https://www.mofa.gov.ae/en/Services/attestation.
    • Create an account.
    • Complete the needed information.
    • Pay the fees online via credit card or any online payment platform. Please note that the ONLINE submission includes collection and delivery of your documents within the Philippines. For fees information, please click here.
    • Once payment is completed, you will receive an email from us asking for additional information. Kindly check your inbox, spam, or junk folders to complete the additional information required. Please note that your address and contact number should be within the Philippines and serviceable by LBC. You may contact our helpline number +632 8528 2521 to confirm if your location is serviceable. If not, you will need to change your pick-up and delivery address.
    • Once additional information is submitted, we will then schedule the pick-up of your documents. Please note that we cannot schedule the pick-up of your documents if the additional information is not submitted.
    • Pick-up of your documents will depend on your location. 1-2 days if within Metro Manila and 2-3 days if provincial addresses.
    • Prepare your documents for the pick-up of our courier: Place your original DFA Apostilled document/s in a short brown envelope. Seal it and write our address below the back of the envelope.

    • Wait for our courier (LBC) to arrive to pick-up your documents (sealed brown envelope).
    • Same courier (LBC) will deliver your documents after attestation.

    NOTE: If you’re having difficulty applying online, we can help you submitting your application via personal appearance. Please continue reading below.

  2. PERSONAL APPEARANCE

    • You or your representative may bring your documents to us and submit it personally.
    • Kindly complete and bring the requirements below:
    • There is no need for an appointment. We are open to accept applications from 07:00 to 14:00, Monday-Friday except holidays.
    • Our address is:

    • You may pay the fees at the counter using credit card or cash.
    • Once payment is completed, you will receive an email from us asking for additional information (please ensure that you can access your email through your smartphone). Kindly check your inbox, spam, or junk folders to complete the additional information required. Please note that your delivery address and contact number should be within the Philippines and serviceable by LBC.
    • After this, you may go home and wait for the documents to arrive.
  3. NOTE: All documents to be submitted for attestation should have been apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) within the last 3 years.

Step 3:

What happens when your documents arrive at the VFS Attestation Application Centre Manila?

For ONLINE applications

  • We will prepare your documents and send it to UAE Embassy for attestation.
  • Processing time for UAE Attestation at the Embassy is approximately 5 working days. Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays are not included as well as pick-up and delivery timelines.
  • Once the processing is complete and released from the Embassy, we will have it delivered to your nominated return address via courier (LBC).

What happens when you arrive at the VFS Attestation Application Centre in Manila?

  • You must arrive between 07:00 to 14:00 to accommodate your submission.
  • Tell the guard at the front office that you’re applying for a UAE Attestation.
  • After submission, we will give you a receipt and just wait for your documents to be delivered to your nominated address using LBC.

Delivery Time

  • Metro Manila – 1 to 2 days once released from the Embassy

Provincial Areas – 2 to 3 days depending on the location.

Search procedure
