- As per a new rule by the Ministry of External Affairs, every document being submitted (original or supporting) for Attestation/Apostille, will have to be scanned before submissions.
- THEREFORE, IN ADDITION TO THE MEA ATTESTATION AND APOSTILLE FEES, THERE’S AN ADDITIONAL SCANNING FEE APPLICABLE TO ALL THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. Applicable to each and every page being submitted for MEA Attestation/Apostille.

- All the Government and Private approved Universities should have MEA + HRD attestation prior submission to UAE Embassy/Consulate attestation.
- All Government and Private approved Universities can be attested through the UAE Consulate in Trivandrum with a lower TAT of 10-12 working days (extra days for Logistic movement)
- Both Husband and Wife Passport copies on the same page needs to be submitted along with the Marriage Certificate for UAE Attestations. (Marriage Certificates without Husband and Wife passport copies on the same page will not be accepted for UAE Attestations)

SMS service
Details and Key benefits
The SMS service updates customers in India on the progress of their attestation applications. The easy to use SMS service sends an automated message to the applicant's mobile phone at various stages of the application process. This is followed by an automated SMS message to the applicant registered mobile number informing them of the final collection/courier status of their application. The SMS text is available in English.

This service is available in India (National SMS only).
How does one apply?
There is an application form which could be downloaded and filled up with opting for SMS service at the comfort of your home or attended to at the visa application centre.
Cost - INR 80/- Applicant could pay for this service while submitting their application.
Payment method – By cash at the visa application center/ Bank transfers for online applications
